I've got another performance with my choir group "The Gentlemen's Choir" coming up next Thursday December 12th at the Abbotsford Convent, from 6pm.
8 short weeks ago, me and a small group of men (of which I am the youngest), came together to lean into our authentic voices, meet our edges and form a choir. It's a privilege to have been coached/mentored by Vikki, who is such an amazing singing teacher! She's been facilitating our weekly 3-hour choir rehearsals every Thursday night. We've especially been working on a lot of harmonies and technical stuff.
“When our authentic voices are ringing together- this is what a choir sounds like, to be a channel of light and expression”
Witnessing us is not just hearing the song, but also hearing what true brotherhood sounds like. A part of this journey included spending a weekend camping in nature where we connected & moved through initiations to play, sing and challenge ourselves. We also made camp at the top of a steep hill and hiked down to the bottom to eat and do all our activities for some reason.
We are a group of men, ready to be fully expressed and witnessed in front of you all. There will also be some solo performances (including me)!
come see us in our authenticity!
